I have an idea about your route for the people with slower internet connections, such as aol. I was wondering if you could put your route on a disk instead of just using it in the fl. You could ship them indivdually or in stores. I'd like this route to install cause it sounds like a great 1 i've heard only positive comments from every1 here. So i'd be very greatful if you decide to put it out on a cd.Have a great day. -Matt

Hi Matt,Thats a good idea for you, but not for the author. The author has done an enormous amount on the route to get it where it is. He does not want to spend time packaging on to cd and paying for the mail to send to other people.Derek

How do you know that? Are you referring to yourself in the third person now? Besides, rolling stock made for FBL was made from other freeware projects, including the MSTS 1.2 Update. It would be in violation of many copyrights if unoriginal rolling stock were included.

I wanna highball it through Woodstock, Ont. on none other than...THE TURBOTRAIN!!!

His postage would be a killer, considering he is from Europe. That is how we know. Maybe when it is released someone will burn you a copy and sent it to you.Don't be a putz!Kevin Arceneaux

Get a download manager like get right. Then you can pause and resume the download (assuming the server supports it).I downloaded a 485mb ISO on 28k a couple of weeks ago when my ISP capped my for going over my monthly data allowance. This is slower than most dialup connections. --Victorian Railfan Web Site:

The thing is... Its not a very big DL...
Its under 20mb i believe. Which is very nice size.
Look at other route 90MB dl's etc.
Be grateful FBL is under 20.

Even with an Analogue Modem ISP connection to the Internet, it should be at least 56K capable, you should get an average 7-8Kb p.sec. of download speed outside peak periods. So a 16Mb file = 16384 Kb download should only take 39 minutes at 7Kb p.sec. to complete, well within the Online limits of most ISPs.O t t o

RE: To the man or organization who made the FBL route

Hello All,today I had email contact with Matt, and we cleared things up.There's no chance for me to prepare CDs of the FBL or related stuff and send it per mail. Sorry!Anyway, many thanks for your interest in this little desert thingy called FBL... as you may have noticed, I don't have much spare time at the moment, but development of FBL3 goes on (although veeeeery slow).Cheers, Björn
