Aug-11-01, 08:12 PM (EST) "Port Ogden Derails" Once I got the missing s files loaded I couldn't operate on many lines without derailing and getting weird engine separations ... leaving Coal City headed for Johnsburg on "THe Loop" it seems that whenever the section of track is used which has the inside of the rail a darkened shade (is this the dynamic track?) it causes a derail. I have had no success running on that section of the line without the derails. Also when leaving Coal City a piece of track mysteriously just disappears and the engine derails! Any suggestions?

Aug-12-01, 07:21 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Port Ogden Derails" Where did you find the missing shape files? When I try to run the route I get 46 error messages saying that shape files could not be found before the program will fire up. After it gets going everything seems to be OK. I've not have the problems that you seem to be having.... smokeyjoe Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-12-01, 09:54 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Port Ogden Derails" You have to get all the sd and s files from the Europe 2 Route copy and paste them into the appropriate file within PortOgden Route. You will then have the route load properly and appear to be ready to run........but watch out for those derails. Please let me know how you make out and whether you experience the same frustrations I did. I'm sure Jim Ward to designed this will work out the bugs with our help. Good luck.
