Both look good but ill hold off on MSTS2 a little while. Trainz 2004 on the other hand I may have to get if its true about all the loading and unloading and all the other yard stuff they say they are able to do with it is true. I will get both eventually though.Frank Roberts

I know I'll be getting both. Always good to have the improved versions of each at times. But I really want to see how the partnership between Auran and UP impacts TRS2K4.Austin

I'll be getting MSTS2 fairly soon after it hits the shelves but I doubt TRS2004 will be in my hands till I find it in the bargain bin at Walmart...

I'll be getting MSTS2 as soon as it's available. I won't be getting Trainz 2004, however. It's not that I have anything against Trainz, but I am trying to conserve my HD space, so it's either one sim or the other, and I would rather be able transfer my collection of rolling stock to the new sim.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

MSTS2 definitely. Trainz 2004 a very strong possibility. I'm even considering picking up Auran's UTC in the meantime now that it's been discounted.

Well I'm surprised nobody's started flaming about the point of this topic or where it should belong yet, but I'll add my 2c,I originally picked Trainz up at a discount at a model railroad exhibition here in Sydney, right from the beginning it seemed a bit dodgy seeing it was only $40 Australian with the registration code on a piece of paper stapled on inside. After finding out it didn't run on my computer I got it up on my dad's, played it once, gave it away. Not my cup of tea.So MSTS 2 for me, definitely not Trainz (unless I pick it up for free)

I'll probably get both - MSTS for sure. I don't have the current version of Trainz as yet but I will probably get it befor year end. Of course I will also be getting RR Tycoon 3.Be Seeing you.

I have been in to MSTS for a little over a year now...will probably get MSTS 2 a while after it comes out and some of the quirks removed.....I am still learning all kinds of neat stuff with version 1...Don't know about Trainz....I have UTC now, and the kids play with it more than I do......think because it strikes me more as a model layout than real world railroading.Cheers, Frank
