Heres wat happens it goes through all these stages (the pics)and then it just goes back to the desktop...wat should i do? Your help will be appreciated!
To go back to basics:You have a wag file and an engine file missing. There can be a number of reasons for this, which some "experts" fail to realise.Sometimes the files can be a little bit different from the one that it is looking for. Look in the trainset folder for something similar, copy it out to somewhere. Rename it to what you are missing, then copy it back in to the trainset folder. If you have nothing like it, you can rename anything to what you have missing, and it will solve the problem. The latter solution can give you some quirky consists, but they will work. I recently had an activity I installed that had 20 errors like that. All were slightly misspelled, so I changed them all to what was required. While you can use routeriter, it sometimes shows errors when there aren't any. Likewise trainstore can indicate errors which do not exist, but both programs are essential.David
i had the same type problem 2 diff times...one with the sp loaded and unloaded center beam flat cars.....that was how i learned to use conbuilder...i sent the problem consist to the editor and flushed that dude out of my life. so to speak..then i had the same with the sp black widow f 7 s.....one day they were there the next day they were not...this time i knew which consist they were in....it was called sp freight..ha ha....so i sent that consist to the editor in con builder and subsituted 4 cgw f7s .....that cured the problem..later i put in 4 rock island f units..anyway ..conbuilder might have also helped you..bob zucco
You have a consist calling for rolling stock that is not installed.Download Route Riter from the library, and run the check all activities test. You will get a list of missing rolling stock.I am not an 'expert'.Derek
