Hi All,Here's how I managed to fix the Send / Don't Send error at the Lucky Strike Ore Mine Station.OldieDaddy in the other thread, I feel, was right in his presumption that the problem is with the 'tiles' files. The crash always occurred at the same place - everytime I tried it.OK - here's what I did - it involves using the Route Editor - if you are not comfortable with the Route Editor then don't try it. I assume no responsibilty or liability for this.a) Fire up the Route Editor and load the Dragon Mountain route. b) Jump to Lat: 53.31302, Lon: -1.15832 (just near the station) c) Move down to the station (not sure how close you have to be - but there is no error with the Route Editor so sit right at the station. d) Change something / anything - ie add then delete a person, add then delete any object or move some existing object in the immediate area. e) Exit the Route Editor - making sure you accept the two save dialog boxes ie "Save world placement changes?" & "Save terrain changes?"These are the files that are updated after this method:DragonMountainPassAU.tit + .bk DragonMountainPassAU.tdb + .bk DragonMountainPassAU.rit + .bk DragonMountainPassAU.rdb + .bkand in the tiles folder: -11ccd9ec_n.raw -11ccd9ec_e.raw -11ccd9ec.t -11ccd9ec_y.raw -11ccd9ec_f.rawSince this, I have had no problem at this station and have travelled from one end to the other visiting all the mines with no problem.Hope it helps, Laurie Whelan Brisbane, Australia
Laurie -Thanks.See also my post a few minutes earlier than yours. We now seem to have two solutions: Lights off. Route Editor.Laurie - can I ask you to see if your solution apples WITH as well as without lights?Others - can you provide feedback if the "No Lights" solution is a cure-all?I hope at some stage we can all enjoy the route rather than try to solve what is wrong with it (though I appreciate that for some, me included, seeking a solution is also a stimulating exercise).Phil
Phil,Right, I re-installed your route from scratch with no incursion in the Route Editor yet, and my observations so-far:It crashes just near the start of the platform at Lucky Strike Ore Mine when:You are travelling South - doesn't happen travelling North? The lights are on full - doesn't happen when lights are Off or Dim Night or Day doesn't seem to matter - the above still appliesNot sure about this though: Made an activity in which the Start Point was AFTER the tunnel (to save time testing) ie just near those three mining thingies and I couldn't get it to fail?So I re-built the path so that the Start Point was BEFORE the tunnel and the failures happened again as above. I suppose I should do it again with the Start Point JUST AFTER the tunnel to see what happens??Still testing ..................Regards, Laurie Whelan Brisbane, Australia
