I am also starting a new thread, the main one taking too long to load and find answers in.DTA kindly downloaded the 56 Mb ZIP and mailed me a CD today. Testing one of the sets at the Default NEC's Philadelphia station, the last coach is where the engine should be. To save me reading through all the replies in the Monster Thread again to see whether this has already been mentioned, I would appreciate your comments here ! Btw, the Moire on the carriages and on mid-distance tracks I mentioned in the main thread being curable by adjusting the Anisotropic settings works on the tracks alright, but the linear pattern on the carriages seems to cause a more stubborn type of shimmer.O t t oNALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions – image 1

RE: NALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions

Alright, I've got a question.Although Nalw used the Dzug passenger sound file, when using it as an AI-train it's completely mute. To be precise; when an AI AEM passes it should produce a 'passing sound' like used in German Railroads. How so?

RE: NALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions

The Moire pattern is worse on the cars and loco because there are many more lines in a smaller space than there is in track Upping your screen resolution is what helps reduce Moire pattern on the cars.------ BUZZ ------

RE: NALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions

God only knows how I managed to duplicate the Screenshot ? Old age again ! The Main question was why the train standing at it's "Starting Point", which is supposed to be inside the station is in fact outside it. The ACELA is doing the same all of a sudden. Did not do that before. Strange !Any ideas ?O t t o

RE: NALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions

To me this is a path starting point problemI bet the path is starting outside of the Station. The path has to start at tracks end to be in the station...BobFlorida Railfan Page

RE: NALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions

You are right, it is, Bob ! The NEC-4 puts the trains inside the Phili Station alright, starting at the buffers. Was not aware of this before. The only way to correct this yet another flaw in the MSTS Default Routes is to create an Activity to get a new Path, placing the Train where it should be !Called it "Philadelphia Station" in the Default NEC and it works now, EXPLORE Mode included.O t t o

RE: NALW NEC Mega Pack - more Questions

Be advised too - our Amfleets, being of accurate length (85', 4" over couplers), turn out to be LONGER than the defaults! This CAN result in a consist sticking farther out than it originally did.------ BUZZ ------
