I am running All the Way West on MP31. When I arrive at Blackfoot, I see three red signals. I have waited as long as 10 minutes. I still get the red signal. I have tried arriving before and after the arrival time in Start State. In the start state, there is a meet and a pass here just as I arrive. I have installed the fix.Can anyone suggest?Carlyle Thompson

I was living in Texas right after the SP UP merger, when they were experiencing the major operational meltdowns. I was railfanning north of DFW when I ran into train that was parked a few yards from a grade crossing. I pulled over and chatted with the crew. The conductor told me that they were driven to the train at that spot, spent the whole time sitting there, were an hour away from being timed out, and were awaiting the limo for pick up / relief!! The humorous part was that the dispatcher kept telling them they would have the clear signal any minute, they whole time!Standoff at Black Foot on MP31 – image 3 J. Hildenbrand------NALW------

Keep sitting, it takes 30 minutes or moer after the trains have gone through
Pretty realistic
Try the Z train activity.
The longest I've had to sit at a red signal in the game is 50 minutes
Once you get started again wail on the horn and see how many dumbasses try to beat the train

Could it not be a restricting signal? On your track mnonitor, does it say stop or restricting?

I wanna highball it through Woodstock, Ont. on none other than...THE TURBOTRAIN!!!

RE: Standoff at Black Foot on MP31

looks like you have given yourself a penalty brake application too!!! release your brakes and build up your air! then put on just enough brake to keep the train still.

RE: Standoff at Black Foot on MP31

it all has to do how the player train is set up.
I took a shower waiting for my player trains to pass.
Only because my wife complained I smelled bad.

RE: Standoff at Black Foot on MP31

Thanks again for the help. I waited about 30 minutes and the east bound passed. Did not get a green. After another 10 min I came to my senses and moved the train a little and the signal change to green!! I was on the down hill side of the Summit when I finally had to shut down for the evening. Will continue to head west this evening.Carlyle Thompson
