What happened to the version 2 of this route that was posted in the library earlier today? Good thing I got it when I did.Scenery looks good so far. While leaving Avon yard the three head signal governing movement to the main gives an improper indication. If you're entering the main with the flow of traffic the bottom head will show the green and red lamp illuminated at the same time.

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

I noticed a few other things I wanted to change after I had already uploaded the files. So I had Nels take it offline for the time being. I'll upload the replacements as soon as I make sure everything's up to my standards.Sorry for the inconvenience.Bruce Bridges

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

By the way, thanks for mentioning that signal at Avon. Turns out I'd completely spaced CP MY when I re-scripted my signals...At any rate, it's fixed now.

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

How long will it be before the route is uploaded again? Will it still be 6 files?

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

I just finished uploading it, and I was able to do it with 5 this time.I threw in the Central Indiana & Western SW8 #88, for use on the Lapel branch. It's a repaint of The Keystone Works' Conrail switcher. I did it for myself quite some time ago, but I thought it might be a handy addition to the route. Unzip all of the zip files to your Train Simulator directory, and it will automatically go to the right place in your Trainset folder. I included a consist of the engine by itself, so it's immediately available to run. Also, I included all of the necessary custom road shapes, and they will automatically unzip to your Global\Shapes folder. You'll need XTracks 3.7 and the tsection.dat included with it to complete the installation.

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

Bruce, I can't thank you enough for uploading this route! I am a big time conrail fan and loved Indy v1.0, well, except for that darn broken coupler problem, which you've fixed - thank you very much!Unforunatly with a busy weekend coming up I won't be able to upload it until Monday at the office (T-1 line WHEW HOOO!).Anyway, just wanted to gush a little bit and express my gratatude. I just can't help thinking just how boring this sim would be if it wasn't for the creativity of so many people like you and so many others who gave thier works for us to enjoy.Best Regards,Dan Godfrey

LAST EDITED ON Aug-16-03 AT 05:27 PM (EDT)

I checked ci20_1.zip on my machine and that file (along with all of the repainted 1-way roads) is missing. Can't figure out how that happened...they're in the folder I made the zip from. I'll upload a replacement ASAP.Edit: I'll make sure it gets uploaded in time to be in the library in tomorrow's update.Sorry about that...

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

It's about 3:50 pm MDT and all five files for the route are available in the file library, including ci20_1.zip. Are these the original files or are they the corrected files? Just thought that I'd check it out before I installed the route. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into creating this route.

RE: Conrail Indy Route 2

These are the original files. Please note that ci20_1 is the only one which is affected, and it will be available tomorrow (8/17).If you already have V1.2, you already have the road sections. However, the replacement file will also fix a coupler break heading westbound at CP 105 which escaped detection until today.
