Hey cant get amtk road railers to work...get the incompatible coupler message even though i installed file to correct..note i did change freight to carriage..any suggestions...rs zucco note os is windows 2000 professional and used note pad..
We have Amtrak Roadrailers?!?! I think you have to use the specail car with the bogie as your first roadrailer in the consist, then the regular roadrailers after that.
Yeah, first you need the couplermate and then the roadrailer cars... But what annoys me, is that the fred light at the end seems to be far of the actual wall of the car...
Hey thanks for help...i got the road railers to work...i had the special file in place....would still not work..the incompatible coupler message was because i had an observation car behind roadrailers....all i had to do was put a bogie at end of last road railer and then re place obs car...all works except the fred WAS out of place when road railer was last car in consist. rszucco
In reality you would never place any cars behind the roadrailers. Because of the fragility of the trailers, which are even if they are specially strengthened still road vehicles, roadrailers would always form the end of a train. Otherwise, all in-train forces would tear the trailers apart. So you either use them in unit consists or at the end of the train. For more information visit the Wabash National Inc. website. They are the inventors and producers of the Roadrailer System.
