Aug-07-01, 04:21 PM (EST) "MSTS Crash" Ok, Heres the poop... having ever increasing problems with the ole MSWin "Fatal Exception Error" crashs... anytime i change views and sometimes just out of the blue the sim crashs.I am running on a AMD 750 Duron
256 Megs of SDRam
32 Meg nVIDA Riva TNT2 vid card
i have gotten the most recent drivers for the vid card at thier web site, and also installed the most recent upgrades for the AMD. this is really getting frustrating over all.Can anyone help me out with perhaps a solution for this.Robert Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-07-01, 06:20 PM (EST) 2. "RE: MSTS Crash" what vid resolutions are you running the sim at. Up until recently I was experienceing the same thing and my resolutions were set too 600 x 800 x 32 and the graphics were more towards the perfomance setting. I have since changed the resolution too 600 x 800 x 16 and for the first time in 6 days it crashed.... mind you this was 4 hours after I started playing the sim.
My system is an AMD K6 2 450
All in wonder pro card (ATI) 128 with 32 meg ram.
96 meg mem as well.
It might help I dont know.Hentis.

Aug-07-01, 08:25 PM (EST) 3. "RE: MSTS Crash" I had trouble with the nVidia drivers as well.
I had to go back to the 12.00 drivers to get stability.Derek tm4@leder.com.au Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
