Hi All; The two activities for KHP v1 cause my TS to crash. The TS loads, but crashes when the actual activity is being loaded. Route Control, Route Riter, ConBuilder do not point out any erros. In the consists, I have swapped the payware for freeware. Has anyone else had a problem with these activities, or can offer a solution? Thanks in advance; Chuck.
Hi,OK, I've had a look at this & I think I know what the problem is.I downloaded file cp8438.zip which I guess is the loco you're using. If it is and you have followed the readme with this loco exactly then it is the name of the directory it tells you to create that seems to be wrong. It says create a directory called CP3084 but you should create a directory called CP8438 and put all of the files in that. When I used the CP3084 directory I received error messages in TS but re-naming the directory to CP8438 cured those for me. I'm not sure if this is also required but you might need to re-do the player consists (delete the engine and re-enter it) so the con file picks up the new directory. Hope that helps (and makes sense!).
Hi Robbie; Sorry to take so long to get back to this problem - been away on shift-work. The CP8438 is in the right folder name, and consists built accordingly, and the consists appear to be okay. My TS locks up within approx. 10 seconds of loading the activity. I have no idea what is actually happening at that point of the loading process. Another activity, Lancaster-Mojave Local causes the same problem with Cajon Pass. I would sure like to know what is causing the problem. Thanks for your help.Chuck.
