Is it me or this there a problem signing on for the files? I never have had this much trouble, I’ve been trying all day. Please before you say ‘sign up for the membership’, I’m financially challenged – read cheap. No, really I don’t have the extra money to do it, even though I’ll be the first one to say it is worth every cent. I did manage to buy 2 routes, a loco pack and a heritage pack. I’m getting there. Thanks.
Mike

RE: download area

Dear LONGISLANDALCO:(Now THAT's a good user name!!!...but makes me homesick)Seriously, not to rub anything in, BUT...it is far more worth the $30 to save and register for this website. It will pay for itself 500 times over in one week when you see a new item or need something to "fix" a program or car/loco file that you forgot to download.I had the same "midnight oil" problem of getting into the site randoml;y...but again, it is worth the registration cost.Doug

RE: download area

Talk about it I was up at 1:30 last night trying to get in tryed for a half an hour and gave up.
I also am Strapped for cash and am really wanting to get a first class membership both here and at flightsim. but I just think its a lesson in patients if only most users did what I do when I go in and find a few large downloads I start two of them then log out so someone else can use the site while my downloads are going on and before I log in I keep in mind what it is I am looking for and dont waste any time just browsing around.
I also check howmany downloads there are of the files I uploaded to guage how popular they are compaired to other uploads I have done and it Gives me an Idea on what I am going to do next
However it looks like all three of my Repaints are doing good as all three are still on the Hotest files today and my fix is there as well
Guess I should just stop worring for a while and get my Kyle GP38 done lolDon Pottorff
