Do to the latest capter in the Harry Potter chapter, my son came up to me and asked me while I played my MSTS if anyone has made the Hogwarts Express??? I been watching the DVD movies over and over to determine the type of locomotive and cars. Looks like a repainted Scotsman.
Anyone like to help with this, or does J.K. Rowlings have a copyright on it?

I looked at the uktrainsim website, and their free downloads for the day were maxed out. Could you possibly post the engine as an attatchment to this thread? Since we're on the topic of the Hogwarts Express, while filming the third Harry Potter movie in Scotland, the engine accidentally set 100 acres of forest on fire!mrWM734current project: B&O R.R. Is that the new one?Some time ago someone just reskinned the Pendennis that came with the game to make the Hogwarts Express.(oh, and y'all wouldn't like the Dark fan fiction I wrote about Harry potter. I had a death eater wreck the train)

5972 Olton Hall. Built April 1937. First shed allocation Neath. August 1950 shed allocation Carmarthen. Fitted with 3 row superheater. March 1959 shed allocation Plymouth Laira. Last shed allocation Cardiff East Dock. Withdrawn December 1963. Acquired by Woodham's, Barry May 1964. Sold to Procor (U.K.) Ltd in Wakefield and left as the 125th departure from Barry May 1981.(from http://www.greatwestern.org.uk/m_in_hal_hall59b.htm )There is a Hall on UKTS 2984 by Mick Trist, not an entirely brilliant model, but the guy's new to the game, it's free and who are we to complain? A reskin might be in order into present condition, but I don't know about GWR locos variations.There is also one by Norman Walker, but that's not as good as Mick'sThere is a very good model of a Castle by Robin Howell also on UKTS e.g. 5409. So there's no need to reskin the hideous default version (which also strangely got lost and ended up on the S&C with the Flying Scotsman, the Royal Scot in 1930s condition but missing it's bell(!) - well that's just all wrong. I'm not sure he'd like it masquerading as a Hall though...
