RE: Radeon 9800 Pro

>Crank it up to the top! I agree. My 9700 Pro does quite nicely. I think your 9800 pro is up to the challenge. I run with quality settings maxed. This gives you 16x anisotropic filtering, and 4x FSAA.-Jeff

I have a 9000, but I can good frame rates(above 35-50), with almost all settings to the maximum.

RE: Radeon 9800 Pro

I wish !! I have just bought a 9700 pro and had it flown in from US - still saved about $220 on buying here. Took out my old GeForce Ti200 and unistalled drivers, and installed the new one - all down hill from there !! XP recognised new hardware... sweet, installed the drivers. XP will not restart - major software and hardware conflicts
Thought I would re-install XP, which went fine, only installed on D not C (absolutley no idea how !!) Can not format drives - both "in use". Sunsequently PC is now at comp tech - money saved on card paying to have it cleaned up. All my TS stuff is expected to be gone - oh well, it was one of those weeks..."Some days you are the statue... some days you are the pigeon" (I am patiently waiting my turn at being the pigeon)OZ
