Only thing I can say is: WOW!!! It is really impressive! I just love this sight down the mountain and you see somewhere down below the horseshow curve in Caliente...Great Job 3DTS!!!
Where in Germany are you anyway? Need a mini keg of Bitburger mailed to me here in the states. The imported version of it always taste stale. Chris Bogley chrisb@tailsnrails.com Ft. Huachuca AZ www.tailsnrails.com Tehachapi Pass II review at www.msnusers.com/MSTSTehachapi
I am living in Northern Germany, near Bremen! The Map shows it all... We have also "BECKS" nearby, which is also quite a famous (but not very good) brewery! We should make a special delivery of German beer of Tehachapi! Like a unit train of BNSF hicube reefers (80+ cars) and only beer! Zum Wohl!Cheers, Sebastian
Boy your way up there!! We spent 2 years down around Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Munich, Garmish, Bitburg, and lived in Bad Munster, about an hour SW of Frankfurt off of the 3.Chris Bogley chrisb@tailsnrails.com Ft. NOW WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? (I knew that was screaming... lol)Okay, the town I live in has 9.000 citizens, granted, it is the forthlargest city in Germany (spacewise!!!!!), so these people are scattered a bit... But it is not far away from Bremen and Hamburg. We have a branchline of the DB going through town with heavy traffic to the seaports and the "Rollbahn" (see German Railroads Vol. 2) is also close by.It is not my fault, if people from overseas only know Bavaria, but it sure is nice up here. At least we have a fresh breeze in the summer. Not like in Stuttgart or so, where you can't breathe in the summertime. That's where I study "International Transport Management" The Bremen Central Station nearby (courtesy of "The European Railway Picture Gallery") Another shot... This is how nice it could be up here... Well... Germany is kinda big...Cheers, Sebastian
