When testing out my route (which I am designing), I always hear the same sounds in my trains. They are the sounds from the US2 route. I have just purchased ProTrain 3 (I'm in Germany) and the sounds inside the cab and passenger cars sound far more realistic. How do I switch the current sounds and these new sounds? It's probably quite simple and I am probably just copying to the wrong directory. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Great you visit our country! Well, to change any sound, you would have to change the respective .wag and .eng files. It'll be better, if you post this question in the sound forum as there are all the wizards who can help you! BTW, I like PT3 too. It is by far one of the most realistic routes I have! The sounds are great indeed! If there where a bit more rolling stock (like double decker passenger cars and more freight stock, different liveries a.s.o.) and more challenging activities, it would be perfect.Cheers,Sebastian
HEY! Watch it now! Some of us don't know what's behind all those strange words you just typed. Is this some kind of code? Just kidding guys. HawkBTW! Here's a Babelfish translation for the above post, for those of you who may think it's some alien code. "Yes, PT3 is good, but with me it hangs with Augsburg on... very nervig. I find it funny, since I live with Stuttgart and already know some" "Some caught a plane, some rode the train. Head for sunshine, leave the rain."
What's a "Dave Whitehead" doing talking German ? So "PT3" ist gut ? Da muß ich es ja kaufen ! Besser wie die WUPPER-7 die ich auch habe ?Just showing off what is left of my Austrian-German after 46 years in the U.K. ! O t t o
I've got no problem with it... Hey! Ich hat fur 3 Jahre in Heidelberg gelebt. ...Aber ich habe meine Deutsch sprache vergessen... Oh well. And I don't know how to type a Umlaut... LOL Pete WillardWho still thinks riding the DB passenger trains in the 70's was the BEST! http://www.trainsimstuff.com
