While other folks are (hopefully) focusing on the big guys, I've worked up an activity for one of the smaller players on Werner's Lehigh Valley route. The Lehigh and New England morning switcher will give you the chance to take an RS2 and work across the "backroads" of the route. There's quite a bit of work for you to do, and some traffic to see along the way.Look for LNE_morn.zip in the File Library.Take care,Henry
I running it now, great so far. But, I'm stuck at the first signal across the river. I've been waiting a good long time now. Am I waiting for some traffic and is it a timed thing? Thanks.Mike Charter member until I stopped using my full name.
Hi Mike! Thanks for downloading the activity!Assuming that you've already seen the CNJ switching job in Catasaugua, I can't think of anything else that should be in your way. The only possibility that comes to mind is that if you were really delayed in making up your train, then maybe some of the traffic from Bath has managed to slip in.How long did it take you to get to the river? That might help shed some light on the problem.I wonder if anyone else is running into this problem?Henry
Henry,I got to the other side pretty fast, I can move that RS2 kind of fast (LOL). I have not seen the CNJ job. While at the stop signal, I keep looking both ways down the track and don't see any movement. Mike
...after a couple of false starts. Had to fiddle with the cabview a little bit. Also there was one .zip file in your list that was slightly mis-named (gon14n1.zip should've been gon14in1.zip) but other than that, everything seems to be OK. It helped that I had already DL'd most of the rolling stock on the list in an attempt to make someone else's LV activities work...which don't work BTW, so you're ahead of the game in that dept.
Hello 'Baron! Thanks for downloading the activity, and thanks for catching that error. I'll fix it in my files for future reference.I didn't try that other activity that you're referring to, but I'm glad that you could make use of the other files.Take care,Henry
