I downloaded a few new locos this evening and went through the motions to install them. I have done this several times before with no problems. One was an auto install loco and when I started MSTS, it gave me an error message telling me the eng file couldnt be read. I figured the loco was screwed up so I removed its folder from the trainset directory, and now I get even more errors. I can still get the program to run, but all the error popups are really slowing things down. How do I permanently remove this loco and get rid of the errors?

RE: Removing Add On Engines

I'm guessing it also installed some consists. If you want an easy way to find out, reinstall the loco, then look in the consist folder. Sort by date. This way it should be easy to see which consists were installed by this loco install.-Jeff

RE: Removing Add On Engines

Thanks,Shortly after I posted this I found someone in another post who had suggested using route control to checkup the folders and consists. I did that and it found the consists that were making MSTS mad. So you were exactly right, consists were the problem. Sorry to clutter up your board with a question that had already been answered. Thanks again for the helpKM
