I was bored last night, so I resized and repositioned the windshields on the NALW C40-8W. Thy are now flush with the nose, and have a length-to-width ratio of 2.5 to 1 (both items are prototypical), versus the original 2.0 to 1. Personally, I think it looks much better. Any comments?Jonathan Nikiforovs.

How about resizing the couplers and MU cables? I always thought they were WAY out of proportion.

I can't do anything about those without modifying the model itself, and I have no way of doing that. The windshields were fixed by modifying the textures. You're right though, the couplers and MU cables are too large.

I'll try that. I knew something still didn't look quite right about it. Thanks for pointing that out.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

Okay, here is the next phase. I have angled the windows as suggested. Bear in mind that this is probably not the final version. I think the next addition should be the gaskets around the window.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

Final version, with gaskets. Also slightly repositioned. Amazing how you can make a locomotive look so much better without touching the model. Kyle Fawson proved that with his UP AC4400 in the "Building America" scheme (Using NALW's model).Jonathan Nikiforovs.

Last item: Here is Kyle Fawson's UP AC4400 "Building America" reskin of the NALW model (The best reskin of that model available, in my opinion), with my windshield correction complete.Jonathan Nikiforovs.
