Hi, We all know that Kevin is nominated for the shortest message price! You cannot do it directly. But you can make screenshots of the F11 window. You need to make a screenshot of every page. So when you have a long list, it takes some shots. Afterwards, you can reverse the images, so you have black characters to a white background. Irfanview, www.irfanview.com is a program that can be used to accomplish this tasks.Dick van den Hoven
ROFLMAO!You dont change! And I sometimes see why! As long as decent messages don't get treated the same way. But I expect they will. This forum is going like a number of other I have seen. The people who know a lot, (not me), either leave, or get sarcastic with their replies. It should not happen. We all started out as beginners, and some learnt sooner than others. So they should help the ones who are either lagging behind, or who have just started. David
What's wrong with 'learnt' ?From Websters2 entries found for learnt. To select an entry, click on it. learnlearnt Main Entry: learnt Pronunciation: 'l&rnt chiefly British past and past participle of LEARN Now as DTA is British the word is quite acceptable.
Hi,David, this strikes me. I thought I had given a normal answer. But we have had this subject so much times. And an other thing is, that newbies must learn not to be so impatient. You see, the original poster hasn't replied to this thread. And this happens much times. Didn't get an answer within an hour and they are gone and never return to their post.Dick van den Hoven
I know it's just good manners to reply atleast to say thanks for the help but sometimes you find the answer and run off to try it - forgetting to reply..? One of the thoughts I have on the activities and there train orders and such. Could it be possible for the people uploading the activity to put in the train orders. Or could the train orders be copied from a print program to the activity editor in the first place. Then you would have the activity and the train orders for that activity. I know that they were atleast thinking of this when they wrote the program. Not so much the printing but the displaying of the train order data. Even though it's less then what railroads actually use it is good that they made the effort anyway when they could of just left that off. Many roads do things differently so you would need the original documents for that to be prototypical. Perhaps if many of the original docs could be found somewhere a generic form could be made up and then everyone making an activity could d/l the form - add in the data for the activity in a graphics program (eg:paintshop) and then upload the form with the activity. The person DLing the activity could then print the form out if they wish or just view it in a simular program. In comparison to making the actual activity it should be pretty simple to do. This kinda thing could catch on like the checklists for FS. The form could be typed onto in the paintprogram or printed out - written on - scanned back in. The form could also be made into a template for a word processing program (MSWord/Works) or the like and then the form could be generated and scanned back in that way. I think the paint program would be the best fit simply because everyone here probably has it and the graphic it makes could be easy to view or print.Just some thoughts.Ronson
Again the short answer is no, umless you can come up with a program to do it. The train orders are the last thing on my mind while I am doing an activity. It is not the activity designers job to walk the enduser through the activity. The user is supposed to be the engineer & conductor. I give the enduser an idea of what must be done, but in some instances I don't. I want the user to think, not be a drone. If I can I will give the user a way into an area to switch and a way out, butit is up to him to figure out how to get the job done.Kevin Arceneaux DEFAULT IS FOR DUMMIES
