Many of the control in the Cab of MSTS locomotives have a display which, when addressed by the mouse pointer, informs the player if the device is on/off or at what percent it is at. Other vital information can be obtained from the heads up display.Question: How do you get information on the stoker feed rate is on MSTS Steam Locomotives?
Hi As far as I know, it doesn't exist. It's part of the limits of the MSTS main program. To MSTS, EVERY steam locomotive is a hand shovel fired coal burner. For some reason, KUJU didn't take into account the fact that hand fired coal burners, stoker fired coal burners, oil burners, and wood burners all act very differently in real life and all have their own little quirks. Maybe in MSTS 2 !!!???Grizzly
>Question: How do you get information on the stoker feed >rate is on MSTS Steam Locomotives? The HUD shows your shovel rate. Is this what you are asking? It's in the second display group. (Press F5 twice)-Jeff
Jeff,That was the answer I was looking for. Forgot all about there being a second section of information in the heads up display. And to top it off responses from two UP fans in a row. Although the Santa Fe is my first love, I have lived in UP territory a lot of my life too so I have a love for their motive power as it was unique.
