I seem to remember someone had posted pictures of the coal loading facility located south of Curtis Bay Yard near Baltimore or have I gotten the location confused with another area. I know that NEC 4.0 has a Curtis Bay Interchange but has no trackage to it. Teriffic Route by the way!!! I work near Curtis Bay and would like to see it modeled, A lot of industries and activity in the area.Anyone else remember, or is the author still active on the forum? Thanks in advance, John

RE: Curtis Bay Yard

i remember it and i have been down in that area before....(i live in North West Baltimore) me and my dad were doing railfaning cause we were board so we went down about half a mile from it. anyway i believe its still being worked on....takes a good month of soild work for a route to be finished(im planning on an B&O route and almost ready to start work) a route can take between 1-6 months depending on how long the route is and the person whos makin the route's sched.

I don't know if it's NEC 4.0 or not (I don't have it yet) but someone was working on a Baltimore route, because I remember pics of the Seagirt Marine Terminal and Riverside Yard being posted a while back, but I can't remember who it was that was working on it.Chris Denbow - Baltimore, MD

RE: Curtis Bay Yard

Thank you for asking about the route. I have not done much of late. Taking prototype photos in public areas has become difficult with most industrial facilities concerns over security. I don't think much has changed but here are few screenshots and a link to a previous post. Hopefully I can make more progress during the summer. http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID15/448.htmlGary
