Well, last night I installed Marias Pass 3.1 in preparation for the upcoming Multiplayer run. However, when I tried to load the route in the activity editor to create a path, the game crashed and I got the send/don't send error box. I tried to load the game itself, result was the send/don't send error box. In the end, I wound up storing 3.1 with Train Store and ran the default route, which worked fine in all aspects. I have installed MP 3.1 according exactly as to the instructions TWICE now, and it still refuses to work. I also have all 3 fixes for the route. What could be the problem, and how can it be fixed? Thanks in advance for the help.

RE: Marias Pass 3.1 problems

Everyone who has a problem says they followed the instructions exactly. Can't be, or it would run. Hundreds have installed it without problems. You need XTracks. You need all 6 original routes for the batch file to run correctly. Are you running on XP? If so, did the batch file kick off and run at all? Sometimes it doesn't and you have to run it manually. RE: Xtracks

Been looking into getting 3.1, but need a little help.First, what files do I need - the download section shows a lot of "1 of 7" files. I need a good list of all the zip files for this.Second, where do I get X-tracks. Could not find it in the download section.Third, what are the steps you need to install it (a little batch thingy?)Any help appriciated.Bluevoss-

RE: Xtracks

Many, if not most of the downloads from here have readable text files that you can reach by clicking VIEW instead of DOWNLOAD. If you do that, you can read the installation instructions that tell you what files to download. Basically, search on file names MP31*.zip and you should get 10 files...the seven parts that make up the route plus the 3 fix files. Install as directed.XTracks is pretty hard to miss, either here in the messages or in the download section. Just search on it.Bob Siederer

>files for this. Filenames are mp311.zip thru mp317.zip and mp31fix1.zip thru mp31fix3.zip. The best way to find them is in "file Search," click on "MSTS Routes" NOT "all categories" (you'll get over 120 responses and the files you want are in the middle) and in the file window, type mp31*.zip. All the files you need will show up.>Second, where do I get X-tracks. Could not find it in the
>download section. In file search (All Categories) look for xtracks*.zip. (No hyphen) You'll get two responses; unless you're editing routes, you only need the so-called "Short" version.>Third, what are the steps you need to install it (a little
>batch thingy?) After you download all 10 files and Xtracks, open and install the xtracks. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY (I didn't the first time)
Next, extract all 7 of the .exe files from mp311 thru mp317 and run them IN ORDER. The install.bat should start automatically as soon as mp317.exe finishes loading. If not, open the Train Simulator\ROUTES\Marias31 and look for a file named: install.bat. Double-click on it. It will take about 4 minutes to copy everything.
Then extract the *.exe files from the mp31fix?.zip files and run them in order.
Go into the Marias31\ACTIVITIES folder and unpack the *.apk files.Any help appriciated.

RE: Xtracks

I thought I had it, but I guess not. Reinstalled the route, and everything works fine now. Thanks a bunch.
