Well, something interesting I noted in the activity editor when trying to do "proper" Acela consists, I can not edit the Acela Express consist what so ever, it says "View" instead of "Edit" Anybody ran into that problem on that consist, it's just called "Acela Express"Thanks, as soon as I get this small problem out of the way, I'll upload the actual consists....Thanks

RE: Acela Express

Tried it in ConBuilder?
Or manually editing it in WordPad?Besides, you can save yourself the trouble - download dyvach's Acela Express remake - it includes protypical consists (overwriting the default ones)

Animated Acela Express

For the animated acela express, is it possible that i can modify the eng or con or wag files so that the doors open when I hit the enter key? They only open by lowering the pantograph.ThanksJustin

RE: Animated Acela Express

Hi,
this is not possible, as the animation is basically the same as the animation for the pantographs. This is just another trick to go round some of the lacks of M$TS

RE: Animated Acela Express

Thanks for ur replyHow do they animate the doors though? Is it something to do with the making of the cars?Pretty dissapointing about the doors not making it real life stuff. Microsoft has not lived up to "As Real As It Gets".Justin

RE: Animated Acela Express

Also when used as AI trains the doors will remain open! Interesting since the pantagraph remains up, so you would think the doors would be closed.

While your consist order is correct, you need to reverse your end cars. The doors should be closest to the engine!!

Since they don't turn them as a rule, it would be exactly opposite on a southbound run.....1st class car is closest to the station in DC
