Ok, the first thing ya all want to do when you get this add on is go into conbuilder and turn the tail car around in the Boeing train set. As it stands now, the tail car would wreak havoc with the tail end of the fuselage on the car in front of it. Other than that, it is a very nice looking set. I wasn't even expecting the skybox cars.

RE: Cajon Pass Boeing trainset

Do you mean that it would do so in real life if arranged that way or that it actually does cause a problem in the sim?If only the former, then I, for one, can live with it.If the latter, then have you advised 3DTrainStuff?Bruce.

Didn't seem to cause any problems in the sim. It just looks like hell with the tail of the aircraft weaving about inside the tail car every time the cars turn a corner or go through an "S" curve. As I say, Boeing would have a fit if it received damaged fuselages up in Washington.

The Boeing train set in real life is run only with the airplane towards the front. BNSF checked all the clearances and that is the only configuration it will work. BNSF would not have to worry about delivering the airplane bodies if they ran them tail first. They would be a pile of junk within the first 100 miles.I know there has been at least one derailment with the train. That happened up at a little town called Itan, Missouri which is about 40 miles north of Kansas City. Fortunately, the cars stayed upright and there was only minor damage to the plane.Newton Kid

Hi guys,Yes, we did some last minute work on the model, and it somehow got turned around, here is the new consist file, just drop it in your consist folder and that will set it right..sorry about that.http://www.3dtrainstuff.com/download/CPA1_Boeing_Train.conBtw, the airplane is towards the front already, its the tail car that was flipped wrong, and no, it does not affect the sim, however, like Duncan said, it looks very odd..Best regards,

Brad,
How about some of these cars WITHOUT the airplane?
I see them empty, often, which I guess makes sense as they have to be unloaded and sent back without the plane at some point.
Any chance you will do an unloaded version soon?
Thanks!
