RE: N&JC PROBLEMS

Have you run the batch file? The microtex.ace file would be copied in from another route. In any of your routes you will find this file. Just cop and paste it to the terrtex folder in Usa_NJC.Bill

RE: N&JC PROBLEMS

Thanks for getting back , Bill. Did both suggestions and now I get a message " failed to open JP1urban.ace." I have the feeling there's a whole bunch more behind that one, too. Maybe I missed something really big?

RE: N&JC PROBLEMS

I had the same problem! until I re-read update 1.4 it says if I remember rightly that only the route and 1.4 update plus the batch file is required.I deleted all and reinstalled doing just that, and everything was okay.

RE: N&JC PROBLEMS

It shouldn't be that as I had the original and have just applied the updates as they were released.I still think it is something to do with the batch file and a thought has just occurred to me.Did you install the first 5 zip files and run the batch file or have you only run the batch file after installing all the files you downloaded. Then you will get a belly full of errors. It would probably be possible to find the zip file with the installer for v1.0 and extract it and then run it and do the same for v1.4 but in the long run I would start again. Doesn't take long Bill

RE: N&JC PROBLEMS

Thanks guys. I deleted and reinstalled and had same problem. I must be installing it incorrectly. I am the furthest person on the face of the planet from being computer literate, so if someone gets time, I could use a blow by blow description of how to do this. Newark & Jersey City are a stones throw from my home and I know the area well and would love to run trains through there. Especially today as we're being buried in two feet of snow.
