Who would want to play Graphics intensive Games on 3+" screens, wasting a fortune on rip-off call charges ? The mind boggles !All the more urgent to get a sure money maker like MSTS out before May 2003, another rush job ?We shall see !O t t o

RE: KUJU and MSTS

I don't read that as a new release, from how I read it, they are just bragging that they produced the program. Kind of sad to think that the program is such a hit with all the problems.
If it was new release they would have listed it in the things they have done to make them look good to the investors.
I did print the document out to be able to read it better.

RE: KUJU and MSTS

Gordy, that paragraph says that they are "Developing Projects", including MSTS.But thinking again about them forecasting an overall Loss at the end of their full accounting year in June, MSTS-2/2003 is going to be released later than that, before Christmas I hope ! November perhaps ?Summer is not a good time for new Games releases anyway, most people engaging in outdoor activites or are on Holiday ?O t t o.

>that paragraph says that they are "Developing Projects",
>including MSTS. They could just be talking about their "add-ons" project for MSTS.
They have already released info that they are going to be opening a web site dedicated to payware add-ons for MSTS.-Jeff-Jeff

RE: KUJU and MSTS

Hope not Jeff, but this could be something Jim Ward, Teemu Saukkonen and others are involved in, making a lot of money for KUJU and M$ as well as a bit for themselves in the meantime, giving KUJU more time to come up with a new MSTS ? I would have PAID for these Routes anytime ! MSTS will follow the FS pattern, no doubt.O t t o

Don't jump for joy yet! It does not specifically say they are working on MSTS 2. KUJU already stated they may be working on Add On products for the existing MSTS so they may mean that. If they are working on Add Ons for MSTS it doesn't bode well for the prospects of a MSTS 2. At least for this year!!Jeff you beat me to it, I was thinking the same thing!!

>when! I'm not saying it's not coming. Just that it's probably not as soon as people think. If MSTS2 is in Beta, I would expect KUJU (not to mention M$) to have made some announcements as such. Building up peoples anticipation of a product always makes for better sales than a "surprise" release. It's basic marketing strategy.M$ is very big on promoting upcoming products. Yet we hear not a peep.

RE: KUJU and MSTS

Think about it Jeff ! If they made an announcement about a forthcoming major new MSTS release, nobody would buy the so-called MSTS-2, the old with just a few Locos thrown in you can get better FREEWARE here in the File Library ! O t t o

RE: KUJU and MSTS

I think when i see an advertisement in Model Railroader or see it on the shelves in stores then i will get excited or if someone can point me to a link or something that says when they are releasing it, then i will jump for joy. Is it possible to read what you want to read? like hear what you want to hear.
Just a thought

As anyone who has followed the Duke Nukem Forever saga knows (it's been delayed for years and years) nothing is certain until the product actually ships.>Is it possible to read what you want to read?Much though I would like to, I don't see the original link as confirming MSTS 2 either. I'd guess that any official annoucements on the status of the game would be Microsoft's business, not Kuju's.Rob.

Being an Accountant as well, I can read between the lines of what KUJU announced in their latest Statement. They are not doing too well and coming up with a "Winner", like a good new MSTS, could save their Bacon ?O t t o
