RE: Nice Centerbeams, Ernie!

:-)
Thanks Curt. Not really all that good, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of colour and variety. Anyway though, happy you like them. I've got a couple more I'm tinkering with. cheers,
Ernie

RE: Nice Centerbeams, Ernie!

Hi Ernie, let me join in; I like the variety in loads etc your cars bring in! Thank you a lot.But with regard to the future variations you plan, let me add one important thing. I recomend you give the shape and shape definition files a different name for each car - your recent cars all use the file names US2FCarRF2.s and US2FCarRF2.sd respectively, from what I recall. Using the same s and sd names on different cars may cause some troubles when you wish to use these cars simultaneously in the same train: All the different cars will look the same, namely like the first one which uses this shape (I assume this is because MSTS will not load & display the same shape with two different liveries in the same consist, for whatever reason...).I suggest you give each .s and .sd file the same name as the file of the car has. This also means that the respective lines in the .wag and .sd file which point to the .s file need to be altered accordingly. I just did that on the cars I downloaded yesterday and can now run all four in the same train, without seeing four times the same car.No blaming intended, I hope you forgive me for pointing to that tricky detail.Lukas a.k.a Swissie
