Hi All:I downloaded the California Zephyr trainset from Train-Sim.com. It is a beautiful train and works fine. I am having a problem with the frame rate. I am only getting 2 fps. When I switch to a Dash9 consist with the same program settings, I get 13 fps. Why the difference? Is there something I can do to fix this? Also, the ReadMe file mentions .BAT files to switch from different views. How does that work? I am new at this. Thanks.Paul
The original VIA passenger car used for reskin is the big killer of the frame rate. I guess these cars don't have LOD setting. Don't look the whole trainset, just look ahead or loco.Just double click these .bat files to see what will happens. But you can not change view when you drive. One trip one inside view.
there are several batch files associated with the CZ. click on one once and it will run a program to switch views. click on one and run the train......if you click on a different one, restart the simulation and the new view will show when you hit the 5 key.Hauling America one pixel at a time Bill Hemb; train sim repainter http://www.cascadenscale.org/Evergreen/tsdm.htm
