I just downloaded the conrail indy route at my friends. He put it on a burned cd and I brought it home and copied the zips to a dummy folder. I unzipped it but I don't know how to install it. It doesn't say in the readme. And how do I find out if I have xtracks 3.0
Have you downloaded Xtracks 3.0? My guess would be, if you have to find out if you have it or not, you likely don't.I haven't downloaded the conrail route, so I don't know if I can help..did you download all of the files? I believe there are 4 that you have to get. Jim
Just unzip and copy to the Route file. Escsept the files that go into the Global folder. If you would have done a search for Indy you would have found the answer.Kevin Arceneaux It is time for Amtrak to become a fallen flag!
The read me, ina addition to the post in the Route Spec's forum is pretty clear on what to do, as is the install for Xtracks and ci_roads. If you don't take the time to read up on what you are doing, you could very well screw up your sim. Not to come across as mean, but read the read me's before you come asking for help. Yes, the route install combined with Xtracks and ci_roads can be tricky. It took me a while this past week to get it running. But take your time ,and follow the instructions carefully.
