My Train sim has a problem. It comes up with an error saying:
Error reading train database file
File: trains\trainset\LITTD-WOOD\littd_wood.eng
Is there anything I can do?Zach, future Trinity Railway engineer(I'm only eleven)

>Is there anything I can do? Look in the subfolder \Train Simulator\trains\trainset, do you see a subfolder called LITTD-WOOD? If so this folder contains incomplete or corrupted files. If you don't have this folder then a consist or activity that you have recently loaded is now looking for it and you need it.The easiest way to get around this is to use Route Control which is available in the file library here. This will isolate the consist causing the problem so the error message will stop. Then you would need to install/repair the folder that is missing to permanently fix the problem.

RE: The horror...

ZachThere is another possibility. The file for this piece of equipment (sj-wood.zip) does not install correctly if you install direct to train simulator. You need to extract it to a temporary folder where it produces a folder called SJwood and inside that is the LITTD_WOOD folder which needs to go to the trainset folder. There is also a consist inside the SJwood folder which needs to go to the consists folder. So - if you have already downloaded and installed this is there a folder in your trainset folder called SJwood? If so just move the whole folder out and then put the contents in the correct places.Bill

Another error

Crud. Another error. Does anybody else have train-sim problems after they run the .bat file for deep snow, which comes with Route-control?
