New Track Bumper – image 2Canadian prototype. It is an actual 3 meter track section, not just a scenic item. Any interest? If so, I need to contact the appropriate people to get it incorporated into the Global Tsection.dat and possibly XTracks.Ray

Ray
Not a Canadian only prototype the ol Buda car stops are very needed,
something between the Hayes and buried ties that I created.
Heck upload em as scenic items I stated in the readme for my bumpers that if Okrasa wanted to incorporate them into the next Xtracks that was cool with me

RE: New Track Bumper

Well, It's about time some 3D creator think of that! Each time i see a track bumper on the sim, I'm back on a computer instead of real life ;o))First I never saw a bumper as modeled in the sim and I always thought it was the bumpers used in Europe.Anyway, I would like to see that kind of bumper in the sim for sure!

Not just interested! Been looking for! Can you make a static version of it until xtracks incorporates it? Just copy and rename the .s and .sd files. Thanks!

RE: New Track Bumper

Won't the train still go off the trscks since there is nothing between the two triangle things to stop them?

>Won't the train still go off the trscks since there is
>nothing between the two triangle things to stop them? Trying to decide if your just kidding or really living up to your screen name I decided to answer. The wheel chocks you see would stop the wheels from passing, there would be no need for a bumper for the coupler.

RE: New Track Bumper

Looks good.Just a suggestion - add some ballast beyond the rail ends, is possible. The staight edge is too severe.
