I have decided to give route building a try. Not sure how it will go or where it will lead, but wanna try. I have decided to resurrect some of the lost Canadian National Ontario backwoods lines. Thusfar I have basic trackwork in place for the Uxbridge Subdivision between Uxbridge and Lindsay which encompasses the west crossing of the Oak Ridges Moraine (a signigicant local geological feature). It will be further expanded South to Toronto and East to at least Peterborough (Belleville is my ultimate goal). Here is the first freight preparing to depart Lindsay south to Uxbridge. The crew has already marshalled their train and will be departing shortly.Well, I'm gonna give it a shot – image 2Since the lines I am working on were removed in the late 80's/early 90's I have decided to take somewhat of a "what if they had survived" approach to it. It will also incorporate as many custom structures as possible. (example, the building in the pic above is an incomplete model of CN's actual late-era Lindsay station)LaterRay
