and coming soon to a location near you

For those that might not know, this is a fictional route based in the Western part of the Midwest with a couple of mountain ranges on both Western and middle sections. A couple of ski areas have been added along with many 'rural' industries many of which feed off the other allowing some interesting railroading.I don't have any of the older parts updated on the site, but here are a few pix of the new section in Version2. Rather than clutter up the site, if you are interested go to http://www.adfrr.com/index.html and drop down to the bottom and click on new section. I'm still working on the other information, but should have it up soon. There will be a complete 'Guide to the ADFRR' authored by STVS which lists all trains and destinations that are regularly seen on the route and a complete history of it and how operations are scheduled. Also basically complete maps will be provided to help you find your way around the 347 mile main.Just a personal observation, but I think working with web-sites is about as 'unforgiving' and as unintuitive as the RE. In fact of the two, I think I'd prefer the RE. At least I know it's gonna crash .. but it doesn't take everything down with it btw, the new section is much more friendly for dial-ups. You only d/l what you want to see rather than the entire group at once as in the old section (which has not yet been converted).Hope you enjoy

Chris, there are quite a few new additions that are not really in the pix yet that are interesting also. Too much area, not enough time. btw, if I can help with your XTracks dilemma, just let me know.

Andre .. Looks like you have done battle with RE... and won. Thanks for the compliments, but you never win with RE. Right at the moment I have an almost 'dead' two tiles right in the middle of the route. 347 miles with mile 99&100 almost out of commission. It can be run one way, but such an insistent little S/DS going the other way. At least I finally figured out what happened. When I compressed the world files to distribute it last time, I didn't go back and use my original, but decided to use what everybody else had to stem off any future problems. Needless to say, that was not the right decision, but now what do you do? At least the RE has taught us this .. just keep plugging
Shawn, I appreciate your offer and may take you up on that when I get those two tiles sorted out. And also a big thanks for the first round .. without you testers and all the help you gave it would have died a fairly quick and sure 'death' by confusion Also, once again a very big thanks to all the talent displayed and the time and energy involved in making that steady flow (sometimes torrent) of addons for all of us to use that these dedicated people have come up with. You all are the ones that deserve the thanks!
