Windows XP Intel 2.4 cpu and mb 256 ddr asus 64 ddr geforce 4 mx440 When using MSTS under my sons user name which has restricitions (he is 4 years old) I get the following error messages when he loads a Train. This does not happen if you select the introductory train ride, or if he plays under my account which is a administrator.messages as it begins to load under his user name, not admin account:Failed to save service Error continue?Failed to save explorer player service Error continue?failed to save activity file: explorer.act Error continue?failed to save explorer activity Error continue?I have updated to the latest version of msts. I changed the compatability mode to win 98 but same effect under is user name. I have disabled Norton Internet Security thinking that was blocking something.Any ideas or advice? Thanks all ATCT
This has to do with the registry, you probably installed MSTS under your own user name ? If your sun is the only one who plays this Game, it should be installed under his user-name, maybe if you have space enough you could install it twice, or else; give him full-access to MSTS in properties of Launcher (in the MSTS folder).edit: sun should ofcourse read Son, finger tripped over the i Greets Henk.
