I currently have MSTS installed on my system's primary HD. However, my parents got me an 80 GB external hard drive, and I want to know how to transfer MSTS over to the new drive without messing up the registry and everything. Can someone please explain the process to me?

RE: Installing MSTS on an external hard drive...

I don't think that the external drive will give you adequate disc access times to enable you to run the sim without noticable stutters. I would use it to store other stuff on that does not require such heavy disc access.
