If you want random AI everytime you play an activity using activity changer:Pick one service, that is going in the opposite direction, from the furthest stop from your starting point.Choose the consists you want to use. Pick as many as possible that are relevent to the route.Get the AI to start from the time before your activity ends or a bit before. ie if activity takes 120 mins, set that as the time before when the first AI trains starts. Set time interval to 10 minutes, shorter and the trains get delayed by stop lights, 10 is ideal with NEC and Settle Carlisle, tho u may get some stops for the AI trains. 15 is safer
Then to change the activity, just go into activity changer and get it to randomize again, it will work every time.Don't do this where there are single lines! On mainly 3 line stuff like NEC, you can start a second service.David
