PO&N Locos

I downloaded Snipers'PO&N SD40-2 locos and excellent they are too especially the beat-up one.
My question is are they supposed to have transparent windows because mine haven't. Probably something I've got wrong in the set-up.
I have the MSTS SD-40 update installed.
Any ideas?Steve.

Yes, I can see out of the windows. It doesn't do any good because it's nighttime, but they are transparent.

typically, the sd40's that you can't see out the windows of are the old sd's. In fact, I'd bet that the loco you downloaded was the old SD modified to be player drivable painted by sniper.There's no fix really. The model is a really SHODDY (yes M$ quote me on that one) attempt by MS to make an SD. However, the updated one is sweet and I suggest sniper (poke poke) skin the new sd's. I might be persuaded to release my PO&N Duplex and another add on tender if he did

He already has. Look in the library. Also, I think it was Jason Dilworth's model (excellent for its time) that is the other SD40-2 in PO&N colors. Looking forward to that Duplex!

Heh, I'm having issues figuring out the mapping on the Dupe but it's coming well. You got the add on tender I snuck in the file library? I need the PO&N emblem though. I can't find the catdog anywhere

My apologies. I'm probably not explaining this very well.
In the number 2 view (outside the loco) the cab windows on the PO&N locos are just grey opaque blocks. In the MSTS SD-40 you can see into the cab.

It's in the .ace file transparency. Check there and you should find something that's not set to be clear.

Is Jim Ward sniper297? I'll go to the oracle to bottom this out. If he skinned them he should know why there is a problam.Steve
