I recently downloaded Marias 3.1, including the fix (and already had Xtracks 3.4). Marias 3.1 seems to run fine, EXCEPT that I can't get SkyConductor skies. This despite adding Marias 3.1 in Route-Adder in SkyConductor (tried about 6 times now), rebooting the computer, etc., etc. I have never had this problem on any other route that I have installed.Suggestions? ThanksRailguy
Marias pass 31 uses other names for the .env files. You'll have to either change the file names manually or find out where they are defined and change the names called for by the route ( mayby a job for the designers)For a start just add the route as you would normally do and run skyconductor. Open the route folder and maria31 and the folder for env files ( the default path is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\ROUTES\Marias31\ENVFILES ) Here you will find 7 files: editor.env - leave this one as it is. USA2sun.env - back it up and delete it ( you can also rename it ) USA2rain.env - back it up and delete it ( you can also rename it ) USA2snow.env - back it up and delete it ( you can also rename it ) sun.env - rename it to USA2sun.env rain.env - rename it to USA2rain.env snow.env - rename it to USA2snow.envyou can make a batch file to do the job if you like.Hope this helps...
Would this method also work for Full Bucket Line? I've checked the envfile, and the hitw files are there, as well as the textures folder with the 26 or 27 other hitw files. But still no change to the skies in FBL. Curiously, Skyconductor works fine in FBLv2. Installed to both with same procedures within minutes of each other, one works , the other does not.
It should I think, though I got some of the filenames wrong in the previous post. Just use the "default" filename for the route, and make sure you got the textures copied to the route (add to SC). The reason I got it mixed is I can't run sky conductor after I installed XP (another story with JAVA and newer windows XP home edition) I'm copying directly from Skyconductors folder and renaming untill I find a way to run Java programs. Well it'll be a couple of weeks anyway, I gotta leave for work tommorow morning (engineers on a ship work some longer shifts as train engineers. he he )

Please verify that the proper files exist in the Marias31 route folder. These would be:In the folder \Train Simulator\Routes\Marias31\Envfileshitw-rain.env hitw-snow.env hitw-sun.envIn the folder \Train Simulator\Routes\Marias31\Envfiles\Textures26 ace files prefixed with hitw-example: hitw-bluesky1.aceIf you don't see these files you can copy them from any other route and drop them into the appropriate folders listed above as is.2) After verifying the above, go into SkyConductor and re-select your sky selections. You must do this every-time you add any route to SkyConductor. If everything is correctly done, then you should then be able to run Marias 3.1 and see your selected skies.
