Hey. There is one route for MSTS that is currently being made. I'm a beta tester for that, and it's going to include all of CSX's/NS's/I&O's subs out of Cincinnati, with Queensqate and the Fly Overs to the C&O Bridge.http://www.belcommunications.net/msts/routes.phpanother good site along with www.k8dti.com/cincy is http://www.cincinnati-transit.net/ - that includes alot of really really good information of the subways, bridges, and tunnels in and around Cincy.(yes cincinnati did have a subway, but it was never finished)
Anyway, I hoped this stuff helps out.Greg

Cincinnati is a huge railroad center. At one time 7 class 1 railroads served it. The Queensgate area is very complex. I can't imagine the work that has to be done to create a route that is right next to downtown. Will Union terminal be modeled? How about the C&O
bridge over the Ohio river to Kentucky?

yeah Ive looked up and down the line, it will be 1 crazy and intense route. I have a couple of problems with the route, but its mostly with questions about how to lay track in MSTS. There are a lot of siding that cross each other, I don't know how to do this other than using a Xover, with leaving 2 out of the 4 ends of the track not to be used, the other is the yard tracks. When a track comes together after leaving it the tracks never match up and I have to make some crazy stuff up with the dynamic track. Hopefully this makes sense. It is the construction of most yards that I have seen, where the track branches out into many tracks but then comes back into 1. Is there any good trick in doing this so that its just like laying any other track. I plan to stop at the Ohio River, since I have started at mile 26 and am heading south into the Queensgate Yard. I found some great stuff on the http://www.k8dti.com/cincy/ site, so even after I get done with this part of the route I know that there is a lot more that I can lay. Any info on the above questions will greatly help me out, thanks.
