Oh, I see at the bottom anything else other than a USA route or add-on. I think you will find that Protrain1 and 2, plus Germain railroads vol1 is far superior to anything from America, except for the Ohio route which is not even mentioned! As for the best route, it has to be Settle/Carlisle 1930, which of course, none of you will have. There are not many routes where you have cats with butterflies hovering over them, pheasants, horses, sheep, children sitting on walls, swallows and Buzzards in the sky, people riding horses, protypical 3 wheel BR lorries, some great cars and lorries, and the best track layout that has ever been made. And that is just half of it.David

RE: You got a USA fetish?

David,Keep in mind it is not possible to name every add on. Secondly, most people do not have any of the Europeon add on's. While I have them all and agree with you on how good Protrain 1 and 2 are, it's not a matter of a USA fetish, but a poll of the more commonly owned US payware add-ons, which by the way, is why Ohio Rail and countless other freeware routes were not mentioned. It seems that every time someone has something to say about US add ons, you fire up the Protrain trumpet. Each add on has it's good points and it's bad points, no add on is perfect. The person who started this poll lives in the US, so why would you expect a Europeon biased add on poll? Why don't you start one, and put it to rest finally?Just my few cents worth.....ChrisFestival of Trains, NRHS 2003 Convention, June 2003, Baltimore Md. www.borail.org www.nrhs.com

How about Tehachapi Pass II ??

Though it is not out yet, the Alpha version I ran a few months ago is 10 times better than the original, with minimal scenery in place. Even got the airport at Tehachapi. Better textures, superb track work, and as a expert on Tehachapi, I must say they pretty much nailed this route perfectly.ChrisFestival of Trains, NRHS 2003 Convention, June 2003, Baltimore Md. www.borail.org www.nrhs.com
