THANKS for the heads-up Kevin. This just might be what is at the root of the problem of the switch node timing that has been reported. In otherwords, instead of adding a switch to keep the jerks from breaking trains (i.e. "jerks" - the action of the trains, not the KUJU programers), this may be the actual CAUSE for the madness?Hopefully there will be a wide spread usage and if this corrects the node problem perhaps it will return the possibilty of essentially unlimited distance between switch nodes. That so, then this would be THE fix and NOT a patch. (As was adding a switch in between problem areas.)Thanks again.Andre Ming
Kev,Damn fine pickup there. I have just been through ALL my eng and wag files with EngMod of course. Did you notice that most of the steam locos had it correct? and most of the Japenese stock?Derek
I tried that fix with an empty coal train through the crossovers at Piegan on MP3. It didn't seem to make any difference. Cars bounced as usual until the couplers finally broke. I actually saw one car imbed itself into the one in front. These were not just run of the mill cars. Bounding boxes are set correctly and most every other physics improvement yet conceived has been done to them. I don't see this as being the broken coupler solution. I agree though that it could have some sort of beneficial effect on normal performance. ROCK
