Found a little bug in the CP Route.... Somewhere between the Barstow yards the ground dissappears. If you keep going (for miles), eventually the ground re-appears and all is well. While aloft, arrowing around in views 2/3 allows you to see the underside of your consist..hey, there's detail there! I seem to remember reading something at the now defunct 3DTrainStuff site Forum that there was work around for this, but I can't remember it. I've tried saving the game right before entering the "twilight zone", and then returning, but no go, still void. Any help is much appreciated.regards

RE: Floating around in Cajon Pass

Hi Rich,You must let the entire train enter the void, then save/restart your activity.White void gone, pretty stuff has returned.Andre Ming

RE: Floating around in Cajon Pass

To answer the question form the poster, the white void is not a 3DTS problem, it is a bug within MSTS, for which there is no fix for it. We can be thankful that at least it is at the end of the route, and not in the middle of it.ChrisFestival of Trains, NRHS 2003 Convention, June 2003, Baltimore Md. www.borail.org www.nrhs.com

RE: Floating around in Cajon Pass

Rich,The problem is a complex bug in the msts program, however, we did work around it with our activities. Like the others suggested, once you are in the void you can save whatever you are doing then reload it, and the terrain will appear. This is all documented in the CajonManual.doc located in the "CAJON" route folder, and there is alot of other useful information as well Best regards,

RE: Floating around in Cajon Pass -- Sky Conductor?

What?! Read the docs!!? That's the first sign of weakness! Nice work on Cajon....now if I could only get Sky Conductor to work in Cajon...It works in all the default routes.....thing is, I think I read about this in the old forum as well, which doesn't help me now.
