In Germany we have an ad on TV featuring trucks having the coke logo on them with lots of lights on them!NOW!!!! MSTS is featuring the CP Christmas train!!! Might CP have a secret contract for making exclusive advertisment for Coke???

Question for HAC.
Harold, if you're involved with the xmas train, could you tell me why they bi-passed Lethbridge this year for the first time. There is going to be a lot of disapointed people when they find out.

yeah, I know.. maybe it was so they could go through Vulcan? Beats the heck out of me, I have no idea who planned the routes this year..
Best thing to do would be to get a petition going, and let CP know that all you Lethbridgers are really upset.. Besides, the trains sure looked good on that tiny bridge y'all got down there...Cheers

Well, I know the feeling, seems a few places get repeats year after year.London got their first train last year. Milton got a station stop last year as well. This year, London doesnt, Milton does again, and Windsor gets the stop, then on to Detroit to Chicago.So ferget it, I am going to North Bay to see my friends up at the Ottawa Valley Railway, they actually get to see it the first time this year. I think they should back the date a bit and try and get more coverage in.

Hehe, I don't know what's brighter, the Christmas Lights or the Ditch Lights.. I'd love to hear a convo on the radio asked the train to dim there lights and the hog coming back on saying.. which ones?? LOL

Brian, actually.......the main headlight/ditch light combo. At 9pm sure its bright, but with that coming at ya from a commuter platform, those 4 lights are still bright, period.To think, I drove an hour and a half to get the pic. Dropped my buddy off in North Toronto. Got on the Highway, got home, and missed it again by 20 min, we literally just missed it at the crossing ahead of us, by about 5.If anyone wants to see any pics, give me a holler.

I was there!
Man was it cold.
I took about 40 shots of that train.
And video.
We got it at Trafalgar road crossing at speed, then dorve to milton and watched it idle in the freezing cold for an hour!
Then videoed it leaving and passing another CP freight.I'll post some pics if they turn out.
