I have recently done an analysis of the activities cuurnetly loaded into my MSTS using Activity-Analyzer. I was informed that quite a few consists were mising or corrupt. What I do not know is where to go or who to contact about getting correct consists so that the activities will run. If anybody can provide assistance with this it will be appreciated.
One in particular that comes up missing is called ICGSD45.con. MSTS will fail if I attempt the one activity that comes with the IC route saying that this consist cannot be found. This is what had me do the activity-analysis to discover that quite a few were missing. I did make a new consist up for the Southbound Coal loads for the Blueridge sub but the consist I wound up with has a CRR SD40 on the point with at least 2 BNSF Dash-9's behind it and only about 30 cars, which somehow does not seem to me to be the intended consist for this particular activity.
Hoborob A simple solution is to create a consist of whatever loco and rolling stock you have and give it the name of the one your analysis says is missing or corrupt. The result will not be what the activity designer intended but at least your activity will run.Cheers Doncam65
Hoborob,Activity Analysis will list a consist as corrupt if the consist file name has a space as the last character before the ".con". MSTS will use this consist. Check your consist directory to see if this is the case. The way to correct this is to edit the file name (and the name of the consist inside the file) to remove the space and then to edit the .svc files that use this consist.Hope this helps.Eric
