Just got my copy of Trains magazine, There is a full page ad for Microsoft Train Sim with new cars and engines, What is this, MSTS2.It would seem to me to be a new version but the ad looks like the old one.So did Microsoft come out with something new?/thanks
They came out with an update which they call version 1.2. It includes a couple new locomotives, some rolling stock, gmax game pack for MSTS. You can download from MSTS Insider website. It is NOT the MSTS2 we are all eagerly awaiting.Cal Rasmussen Beaverton, ORColumbia Gorge Route (Phase 1 track completed. Building roads and scenery)
Next time, try reading the ad. It says 2 new locmotives, and new activites and rolling stock, with the picture of BNSF 4723 on the front, with the names of the original 6 routes pasted around the borders. What do you think it is? It's an update, to include the new SD 40 that everyone is talking about. Go to MS's game website, and download the new content for free.BTW, you can thank Train Artisan for the SD 40, they put it together. It's not a game, it's a way of life.
