On the steamtrain used in Ohio ten activities, the cabview is from the Flying Scotsman, with a changed firebox which looks brilliant. Can anybody tell me how I can transfer that firebox to the defualt Scotsman?David
Hi,Sorry David, the e-mail was still in the pipe line. On the Ohio Rail we have fire that can be seen in external view and fire in the CabView. For the external fire, you need to change the Light section. Richard Cowen knows the exact details. Also you need to adjust the positions. For the Cabview, well that's my part and here is the text of the e-mail I intended to send you: I found one of these files on the file library. The fire should also be there, but the author uploaded a wrong file. So I created that one myself. See the readme in one the CabView folders of the Ohio Rail steamers. To show this fire in the Scotsman Cabview, do the following: 1. Backup the files coal.ace and fire.ace from the original Cabview folder of the Scotsman. For example create a subfolder "SaveFiles" and move them to that folder. 2. Copy from the CabView of one of the loco's, doesn't matter which, the Coal.ace and Fire.ace file to the Scotsman Cabview folder. The path to the Scotsman is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Trainsimulator\Trains\Trainset\Scotsman The path to the Ohio steamers is for example: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Trainsimulator\Trains\Trainset\BD-0-6-0Dick van den Hoven
