Perhaps some .eng file is needed... Probably there is pratically infinite derail force there! BTW, don't cars so long risk a crash against a train coming the opposite direction on narrow curves?Umberto

RE: This looks so...

I just spent a couple of weeks in Japan, using the Shinkansen a lot: I saw a Series 500 passing by at 300 kmh as I was standing on the platform of a smaller station: an awesome sight! For those interested in more info, there is an excellent English-language web site that describes and illustrates all Shinkansens: http://www.h2.dion.ne.jp/~dajf/byunbyun/. I am amazed at the variety of types and shapes, and the continuous progress. By the way, I am told that those funny noses with huge chins (like bulldogs) are shaped for aerodynamics, not for fun or to scare away the birds! Thanks, Ronik, for helping us toward driving our own Shinkansens!

Doesn't it look a lot like a FB-111? BTW, Mike I love Cliffhanger, great testing ground for new engines, lots of opportunity for screenshots, AND, lol when driving off that Ciff!(with the exception of the jet train and Super Dash9, the only one to make it over the gorge, has been the ICE train. Bet the Shinkansen beats the record).

RE: This looks so...

If this is a Series '500', when why does it look so much nicer and drive so much faster than the Series '2000' or even Series '7000'?
