Here are the Screenshots, SNIPER !GREAT Route, my kind of Scenery, Mountains ! 97 Mb, which took me almost 4 hours to Download last night. Well worth the Effort !However, your Route remains my #1 followed by the N.&.J.C. and Seaview-2 ! Used the LGV-MED Rails in the Erehwon shots, 50 cars Consist.BtW, asked Nels could he increase the JPEGs Limit to say 130-150 Kb ? Difficult maintaining Quality and a reasonable Picture size at the same time ! SnapIt Image edited with IrfanView from: www.irfanview.com
Ottodad:You are getting great FPSs on this route! Mine are usually lower than 10 in the "city" parts, with view 4 sometimes 1-2 fps. "Mountains" segments are in the 20s (fps). This is definitely a beautiful route, but, unfortunately, that's the only one I, pretty much, cannot play normally.Eugene.
You are right, Eugene. The NZ-TAIERI is my slowest Route too, previously the N.&.J.C.But even at your slightly lower Frame Rates, motion in most parts should be reasonably jerk-free ?Not everybody can afford to use their WIN XP for just a couple of SIMS, at the moment the only way to get the performance I do ! Talking about the latter, I am still experimenting with CENATEK's RAMDISK, their WIN XP version to be expected in November they asked me to test. I am looking forward to some sizzling Frame Rates even in this Route ! P.S.: Have a look at the Minimum Services running on my machine. Is there anything you could END running in the Task Manager ? I also run WIN XP in "CLASSIC" Style Mode.
