What's wrong? I know the scenery is a bit dark as I saved it .gif. If I saved in .jpg, the funny colour would change to another colour. -------------My favourite LUL train-------------

Since the picture is so dark, it is impossible to understand what you are talking about. Incidentally, whether you save in .gif or .jpg, the picture should appear the same. Please explain further what the problem is and show a better picture, if you can.Cal Rasmussen

Ok, Lawrence, I'll spot you that one. With normal compression (~75% of original), there isn't much difference.Cal Rasmussen

RE: Colour problem

OK. You are running early morning and it is raining. You have a rake of Intercity mark2 or 3 with a mapping or some other texture problem that only shows in the dark and maybe only from that angle.

Jpegs do wierd things sometimes with compression, I had a similar problem with green changing to black with makeace. The three worst offenders are 00FF00 (green) FFFF00 (yellow) and FF0000 (red). The only thing I found that helps is changing the color balance or brightness & contrast so the red, for example, changes from FF0000 to FB1717 or something. Looks to me like you need to crank the gamma up on that anyway.

GIFs are limited to 216 colors. To solve the color problem, save it as a JPG.
